NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC.

Effective June 22, 2003 it is illegal for clinicians practicing acupuncture in B.C. to call themselves "acupuncturists" or misrepresent themselves without being registered as a "Registered Acupuncturist", abbreviated as R.Ac.

Non-registrants who use a name, title or abbreviation in any manner that could lead the public to believe that they are a Registered Acupuncturist or an acupuncturist are in violation of the Health Professions Act and the CTCMA Regulations. Call  (604) 638-3108 to confirm a clinicians status or visit: www.ctcma.bc.ca for a list of R.Ac.
